Miriam: My toy has a 3D-printed cat. For this assignment my theme is a cat, and I have therefore used this item on my toy. Because we needed a 3D-printed part, I chose the main part, the cat. I used tinker cad to make this. This I used because it’s better for geometrical figures. First I tried to use Sculptris, but I found that hard to use because the surface quickly became uneven and I did not know how to fix it or make anything there. I have made the toy so that when you turn the crank, a wheel will make the stick move up and down. I have then attached a tail to the stick, and this tail will also move up and down because of the wheel within the toy. During the process of working with this we have learned many things concerning mechanic leers. I have learned how to make a product so that the top moves in the way I want it to. I learned a lot by just working with this project, and trying out different ideas. The things we worked with during this period were things I didn’t know much about beforehand, and I thought it was interesting to learn about it.
